Scar Coconut Deck: the list and a first read

The full deck tech for Scar is still being written. Until it is out, this page has the list I am playing, the ability it is built around, and a short read on what to expect from it at the table. If you are still choosing your first character, the quiz is the place to start.

The ability

During your turn, you pay 1 ink less for the first Ally character you play.

What the deck does

Your first character each turn costs one less, so you are always a step ahead. Scar himself eats one of your own characters and hands you a fistful of cards, and the rest of the deck takes a point from each opponent every single turn.

The table hurts a little every turn, and then you finish it.

What will frustrate you: Scar is the character everyone at the table wants gone, and the deck cannot fully protect him. Taking cards out of people’s hands also makes enemies faster than the slow drain does.
