Mufasa Coconut Deck: the list and a first read

The full deck tech for Mufasa is still being written. Until it is out, this page has the list I am playing, the ability it is built around, and a short read on what to expect from it at the table. If you are still choosing your first character, the quiz is the place to start.

The ability

Once during your turn, you may pay 5 ink to put the top 2 cards of your deck into your inkwell facedown and exerted.

What the deck does

Once a turn you can pay five ink to add two more cards to your ink pile. It costs you now and pays you back every turn after, and by the middle of the game you are playing the biggest things at the table.

The plan fits in one sentence, grow, then drop something huge, then do it again, which makes it hard to play wrong.

What will frustrate you: the card the deck is built around costs eight, so the deck is slow to get going and everyone knows exactly what is coming.
